*The Sea Beast* (2022) is an animated adventure set in a world where massive sea monsters terrorize the oceans. The story follows Maisie, a young girl who stows away on a ship led by a legendary monster hunter, Captain Crow. Along with Crow’s skilled crew, Maisie embarks on a journey to capture and kill the fiercest creatures in the sea. However, as Maisie forms a bond with a misunderstood sea monster named Red, she begins to question the morality of hunting them. The film explores themes of bravery, friendship, and challenging old beliefs about nature and the creatures that inhabit it.
