The BFG (2016) is a fantasy adventure film based on Roald Dahl’s novel. The story follows a young orphan girl named Sophie, who befriends a gentle giant known as the Big Friendly Giant (BFG). The BFG, unlike other giants, does not eat children but instead catches dreams to deliver them to children around the world. Together, Sophie and the BFG embark on an adventure to stop the other, more dangerous giants from eating children. They seek help from the Queen of England, who devises a plan to capture the giants and put an end to their terror. The film explores themes of friendship, bravery, and kindness.
