*Solo: A Star Wars Story* (2018) explores the origin of Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), the iconic smuggler from the Star Wars universe. The film follows Han’s early life on the streets of Corellia, where he escapes with his love, Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke), but is later separated from her. He joins the Imperial Navy, hoping to escape his past, but soon becomes disillusioned and turns to a life of crime. Han partners with the rogue gambler Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) and a crew of criminals, including Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo), to pull off a heist on a train carrying valuable cargo for the criminal syndicate, Crimson Dawn. Along the way, Han faces betrayal and discovers his own path, cementing his reputation as a cunning and daring smuggler. The film delves into his rise to becoming the man we know, including the iconic acquisition of the Millennium Falcon and his first encounter with Lando.
