In *Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales* (2017), Captain Jack Sparrow faces a new enemy, the ghostly Captain Salazar, who seeks revenge after Jack trapped him in the Devil’s Triangle. To defeat Salazar, Jack must find the Trident of Poseidon, which grants control over the seas. Joined by a young sailor, Henry Turner, and astronomer Carina Smyth, who is revealed to be the daughter of Will Turner, Jack races to find the trident before Salazar does. In the end, the group defeats Salazar, and Will is freed from his curse, reuniting with his family.
